The Jacuzzi is a high efficiency pump designed for in-ground swimming pools. It features a heavy-duty, self-priming motor that runs quiet. Included is a heat sink to help protect the motor from damage caused by dry running Jacuzzi and increases its efficiency and extends working life. There is an extra large capacity strainer basket with a ring lock that gives you easy tool free access. You will also find a built-in strainer flap that keeps the strainer free of debris and also helps to prevent the hot water from your pool or spa heater from back flowing into your filter, which can damage grids, valves, or gaskets.
